Privacy Policy

Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Game-Crazy collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when a visitor opens the arcade, plays browser games, uses private multiplayer room codes, changes cookie choices, posts to the public pinboard, creates or accesses an optional account, or interacts with site links and controls. It applies to game-crazy.com and to game files served from that domain.

Game-Crazy is operated as a browser arcade. A player account is optional and requires a password plus a mandatory email verification code before a browser session is issued. The site does not require a payment profile, public profile, real name, postal address, or uploaded identity document to play the games currently offered on the site.

Account Information

If you choose to create or access an account, Game-Crazy collects the email address you enter, the display name you choose, password verification data, email-code verification status, session details, account timestamps, and saved progress snapshots. Passwords must include at least one capital letter, one number, and one special character. The site stores password-derived hash records with salts and algorithm metadata; it is designed not to store your plaintext password.

Email verification codes are sent to the email address you provide after the password step succeeds. Codes expire after a short period, are limited by attempt controls, and are used to confirm access to the inbox before account access is granted. A session is not intended to be created unless both the password step and the email-code step are completed.

Account sessions are stored using an HttpOnly browser cookie named game_crazy_session. The cookie keeps you signed in on the same browser for a limited period unless you sign out or clear cookies. Session tokens are random values and are stored server-side in hashed form.

Information Stored on Your Device

The games may store local scores, audio settings, control preferences, game progress, cookie choices, and similar browser-side preferences in cookies, local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, or ordinary browser cache. This helps the site remember settings on the same device and load game files more smoothly on return visits.

The cookie banner sets game_crazy_cookie_consent to remember whether you selected "Allow optional cookies" or "Essential cookies only." It also sets game_crazy_cookie_choice_date to record when the choice was made. If you allow optional cookies, the site may set game_crazy_visitor_id, a random browser identifier used for basic site preferences and game improvement signals. These cookies are set for up to one year unless you clear them sooner.

The community pinboard uses game_crazy_pinboard_session for visitors who are not signed in so the site can allow one sticky note per 48 hour board. If you post a note while signed in, the account session is used for that same one-note limit. Pinboard note text, color, post time, and the account display name or assigned visitor label are visible to other visitors until the current board refreshes.

If you press the NCS music control, Game-Crazy may load an embedded YouTube player for the official NoCopyrightSounds catalog. YouTube and related Google services may process IP address, browser information, playback state, embedded-player interactions, cookies, local storage, and similar technical signals under their own policies. The embedded music player is not loaded until you interact with the music control.

The advertising banner sets game_crazy_ad_consent and game_crazy_ad_consent_date to remember whether you allowed or declined advertising. If you allow advertising and an advertising client is configured, Game-Crazy may load third-party ad providers that use cookies, local storage, IP address, browser information, page context, and similar signals to select, measure, limit, and report advertising, including personalized advertising where permitted by your consent and applicable law.

Technical Information Processed to Operate the Site

When you visit Game-Crazy, ordinary web infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, requested page or game file, error data, approximate region, date and time of request, and security signals. This information is used to deliver pages, protect the site, troubleshoot bugs, and keep games available.

Private party codes in Backlot Duel are four digit room identifiers used to connect two players in the same match. Party codes, WebSocket events, movement inputs, ability selections, and match state are processed only as needed to run the live match, reconnect players, prevent room conflicts, and clear abandoned sessions.

Saved progress may include local browser-storage entries related to scores, settings, unlocked levels, game state, and similar arcade progress. The account system is designed to copy only game-related browser storage entries and reject oversized progress data.

How Information Is Used

Legal Bases and Business Purposes

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, Game-Crazy processes information as necessary to provide the service requested by the player, to maintain legitimate interests in security and site improvement, to comply with legal obligations, and, for optional cookies, advertising storage, personalized advertising, or similar technologies, according to the consent choice made in the cookie and advertising banners where applicable.

Cookies, Cache, and Similar Technologies

Essential cookies are used to remember the cookie decision itself and to make basic site functions work. Optional cookies may be used for a browser visitor id, ad consent, ad delivery, ad measurement, and preference-related improvements after consent. Browser cache may temporarily store images, scripts, game modules, stylesheets, ad scripts, and other files so the games load faster and use less bandwidth.

You can withdraw or change practical cookie or ad consent by using the footer controls labeled "Reset cookie choice" and "Reset ad choice," or by clearing cookies and site data for game-crazy.com in your browser. You can also block cookies, use private browsing, clear local storage, or use browser privacy controls. Some settings, saves, party reconnection behavior, advertising choices, or performance improvements may stop working after storage is cleared or blocked.

Service Providers

Game-Crazy may rely on infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, security providers, content delivery networks, analytics tools, browser platform features, embedded media providers, third-party ad providers, and other technical vendors that process information on behalf of the site. These providers are used to host the website, send confirmation codes, deliver game files, route traffic, prevent attacks, debug errors, play optional music, display advertising, prevent ad abuse, measure ad performance, and confirm whether the service is functioning.

Email Delivery Limits

Account verification emails, security codes, notices, and other messages may be delayed, blocked, filtered into spam or junk folders, bounced, deleted, misdirected, rejected by an email provider, affected by an incorrect email address, or otherwise fail to arrive. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Conundrum INC. and TEC-NO Development SA are not responsible for any loss, damage, account access issue, lost progress, missed notice, inability to verify an account, or other consequence arising from lost, delayed, blocked, deleted, unavailable, or undelivered emails.

No Sale of Personal Information

Digital Conundrum INC. does not sell personal information through Game-Crazy in exchange for money. The site is not designed to build a public player profile or trade personal details. Advertising placements may support the site, and personalized advertising may involve third-party ad providers processing advertising signals after consent where required. If paid accounts, public profiles, or materially different cross-context tracking features are introduced later, this policy should be updated before those features are used.

Children and Young Players

Game-Crazy is a casual entertainment site and is not intended to collect personal information from children who are below the age required to consent to online services in their location. Parents and guardians should supervise younger players, decide whether cookie storage is acceptable on the device, and clear browser data if they do not want local game information retained.

Security and Retention

Reasonable technical measures are used to keep the site available and reduce unauthorized access, misuse, and abuse. Password records are intended to be protected with slow salted hashing, and email codes are intended to be short-lived and single-use. No website can guarantee perfect security, and users remain responsible for using a unique password, maintaining control of their email inbox, and signing out on shared devices. Information stored in your browser remains there until it expires, is replaced, or is cleared. Server-side operational records, account records, session data, password hash metadata, and progress snapshots are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging, legal compliance, or service operation.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how personal information is used. You may also have the right to appeal a privacy decision or complain to a privacy regulator. Game-Crazy will not discriminate against a visitor for exercising privacy rights that apply under law.

To make a privacy request, contact Digital Conundrum INC. through an official support or business contact method made available for Game-Crazy. Requests may need enough information to verify that the request relates to your browser, device, or interaction with the site.

International Access

Game-Crazy can be accessed from different countries. Site traffic may be routed through infrastructure in multiple regions, and technical information may be processed where service providers operate. By using the site, you understand that browser-game traffic may cross regional borders as part of normal internet delivery.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the site changes, when new games or multiplayer systems are added, when storage or analytics practices change, or when legal requirements require clearer notice. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.
