Cloud Run Player Guide
Reviewed July 11, 2026
Cloud Run is the introductory platform course. The objective is to cross suspended platforms, collect coins, time jumps accurately, and reserve the dash for gaps that cannot be cleared by a normal jump.
How the game works
The runner advances continuously, so every input changes where the next landing will occur rather than merely moving a character in place. A normal jump handles short breaks in the path. The dash extends an existing jump and is most useful after the character has already cleared the platform edge.
Controls
Use Space, Enter, Up, or tap to jump. Use D, Right, or Shift to dash. Press R to restart.
A reliable approach
Treat the opening platforms as a timing lesson. Watch the front foot, jump as it reaches the edge, and keep the dash unused until the destination platform is visibly below the character. Coins mark useful lines through the course, but a safe landing takes priority over collecting every coin in one attempt.
Short version: Jump first and dash late. Early dashes usually spend the recovery option before the next platform is actually reachable.
Recovering a difficult run
A poor takeoff can sometimes be corrected with a late dash. If the character is already falling below the top surface of the next platform, restarting is faster than spending several inputs on an unrecoverable run.
Input and accessibility notes
Cloud Run can be played with a single jump key plus one dash key, and both actions have touch equivalents. Players who prefer a slower learning pace can ignore coins and practice the platform sequence first.
