Card Fight Player Guide

Card Fight is a compact turn-based duel. Each turn asks you to choose an attack, guard, or counter while anticipating the opponent's next exchange.
How the game works
Card Fight resolves one selected action at a time. Attack creates immediate pressure, guard limits incoming damage, and counter is strongest when it answers an expected attack. The small hand keeps the decision readable while still rewarding attention to the opponent's recent choices.
Controls
Use the mouse, touch, or keyboard focus to choose cards and confirm turns.
A reliable approach
Do not evaluate a card only by its printed damage. Compare the current health totals, the opponent's last action, and whether a defensive turn would preserve a stronger response for later. Repeating the same attack makes the next turn easier for the opponent to predict.
Short version: Hold response cards until the board reveals the likely threat. A clean counter usually beats raw damage.
Recovering a difficult run
When behind on health, alternate guard and counter until the opponent reveals a pattern. A low-health win usually comes from denying one major hit rather than racing with weaker attacks.
Input and accessibility notes
The game is turn based and places no reflex requirement on card selection. Cards can be chosen with pointer, touch, or keyboard focus, and the result of each exchange is shown before the next decision.
